I don't even know how to respond to that. That is your opinion. Many people would rather live in the desert as opposed to a place with cold, harsh winters that last for many months in a year. It's just a personal preference.

Lol, what is there not to like about Las Vegas? If you don't mind me asking. Well besides their economy.
I think some people consider Vegas "fake" because it evolves around gambling, strippers, and alcohol, but I personally look passed that and look at more than the strip.
I'm from AZ, they have a ton of both cultural and geographical diversity...from canyons, to massive lake powell to lake havasu to snow in flagstaff and the great desert surrounding phoenix and tucson.
I've been to NM and Albuquerque just seemed like a really boring place (everyone has their own opinions and experiences)
NV is nice, i think vegas is pretty fun, its got mysterious area 51 and if you drive way up north toward reno its a whole different world with tahoe right there!
