Hi, we are in Mason, OH for the next 2 months for a treatment for my 2 year old son with cerebral palsy. Our au pair is with us and I would love for her to meet some other au pairs to hang out with. She has a large circle of friends at home and loves to experience American culture and go out. I feel bad for her here.

Default Your au pair question

I saw your post about your au pair. We have had live-in nannies and have encountered the same kind of thing. They feel a bit isolated. Unfortunately, I don't have any great solutions. My nannies met people through church. There is a young adult program, I believe, at the Christs Church of Mason. She might try that. Also, if she went through an agency, the agency folks should be able to do a search to find other au pairs in the area. Good luck!

regards au pair questions

I teach social-ballroom dance in community education classes at the University of Cincinnati
Continuing Education, University of Cincinnati Dancing for Two and some other classes
Occasionally I have an au pair attend.
Sometimes I have extra men, sometimes extra ladies in my dance classes there are no guarantees, it is random and sometimes difficult to find extra dance partners, it varies. I have students from 18 to 84. sometimes she is stuck dancing with the instructor ( me )
there are ballroom and other dances around town DANCECincinnati - Your Connection to Ballroom Dancing in the Tri-State a much nicer crowd than some other dance venues
