Interesting about the public transit - when I posted a few days ago about parking downtown, I got great advice about taking the bus. I drove past the Anderson Park and Ride, and it seems quite nice. Are the express buses generally very full in the mornings and evenings?

To the point where I wouldn't be able to get on?

The express buses do get full, but the farther out you catch the bus in the mornings, the more likely you are to get a seat.

No. You will be fine. Just expect crowds the closer you get to downtown. The 17 and 18 buses are standing room only morning and evening. That's the route I am on.

I'd be taking the 75x -- Anderson Express. Hopefully that'll be all right.

You will be fine, and maybe your route isn't that crowded.

I lived in Anderson for a short time last year and my husband and I would occasionally take that bus from the Anderson Town Center park and ride lot. I think we got on around 7:15 to be in the office around 7:45-7:50 and there was always a line of people but no problem getting a seat unless you were one of the very last people. The ride home was a bit more crowded but if you got to the stop on time you could always get a seat.

I would rate it a 4. It's buses only. I cannot understand how Cleveland has a pretty good rail system, and cities like Charlotte and Nashville are investing in rail transit, yet Ohio's largest metro has zero rail transit.
