The 2005-2008 delivers 38% power to the front and 62% to he rear. So while you can't do a burnout, you can get the rear end to come around if you floor it on a very slick surface.
They only made it for 4 model years and gave it a slight redesign for the last year it was made (2008) But Dodge showed us in my opinion that the station wagon could actually be cool for once. Especially if it has the 5.7 or 6.1 Hemi
Who agrees the Magnum should be brought back?
I cant believe they got rid of it and replaced it with the Journey
Dodge is known for fly by night models. The Magnum was just a big powerful redesigned station wagon really. If they brought it back I'd like to see an AWD model. That would make it all around a pretty deverse auto.

Its sad b/c its one of those vehicles that people said "oh if they make it I will buy it" and they made it and these same people came up with every excuse not to buy it.
They should bring it back, it was a masculine kick ass wagon.
I think they could bring the Magnum back if they upgraded the interior to compete in the near-luxury category. As the Panamera has demonstrated, upscale hatchbacks are hot, as long as the cars are designed as fastbacks instead of portly hearse-like station wagons. Audi says they're going to bring their A7 hatch here this yr and Mercedes recently announced a CLS "Shooting Star" hatch. But these luxo-wagons are priced for high-rollers. The American market may be receptive to a similar kind of car priced under $40k. Or this could all be wishful thinking.
I always liked the Dodge Magnum and thought it was cool. It defiantly was different and it was much neater and practical than a crossover type vehicle. Give me a station wagon any day over some half baked wussy ass truck. It is really too bad they are gone.
