From being born out of wedlock and given away, through the foster system and back home, through the rebellion that ensued - that's when I heard His voice - not at a church altar, but walking home in the middle of the night, high as kite...

"I love you - I have not forgotten you."

I had seen the gospel at a very young age, and I wondered where He was at my very low points.

He was there, quietly watching over me.

There's been a lot more high and low points since then, but the story of His faithfulness is my life.
