Saan -

Well, according to the Book of Romans, especially in the first few chapters, the state of mankind is laid out. And the conclusion - total depravity.

So He already knows.

Which is why Jesus came to save us from our sins and the power of sin in our lives.

He already knows the state of the nation, and the human heart, even the tiniest thought and desire.

So, if He came to earth, He probably would look at things like He did when He observed the Romans, hmmm and MIGHT come to look for those who had a bit of faith, who sought him out not just for food and drink, but for the gift of eternal life which he would then give

He probably would see the sick and have compassion on them.

I wish i had lived in the time Jesus was on the earth so i could give you a first hand account!

If Jesus suddenly came back to earth today, would he approve or disapprove of modern Christianity?

In all honesty, Christianism would attempt to correct him; and wouldn't recognize him from that of their own neighbor.
Be careful how you treat one another, you never know who you will be entertaining?

While Jesus looks at them and says, "So. Who did you feed while I was gone?"
...those that were hungry.

Thanks, for dinner!

Brilliant observation.

He would disapprove and destroy the majority of the Pagan Christians and Heathens alike, lump them in together because they are the same spirit anyway. which he is going to do

Book of Revelations

I believe Jesus might have spoken 1 Corinthians 13; using "Obedience to the Father" in place of love. Try it.
God is more concerned with one's relationship ,than their academics . Other wise children, and new believers, would be excluded.
Paul was a Pharisee, cultured in education academics, and politics, and built his own gospel on that premise.
