Which laws would those be?

Actually, we don't have a "separation of church and state". It's not in our Constitution. Maybe your Civics teacher shouldn't be teaching Civics.

No, that phrase isn't in the Constitution. Lots of things aren't in the Constitution. It is, however, the phrase used to express the intent of the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause in the First Amendment. Thomas Jefferson used it. The United States Supreme Court uses it.

You have the right to open the doors to your church and preach whatever you want (including telling people you are the Sun God should you feel the urge) because the U.S. does not have an official religion endorsed and sanctioned by the government. Likewise the government cannot tell anyone they have to go to your church. We do, indeed, have a separation of church and state.

Isn't it smashing?

Many of our existing laws, be they criminal, civil, contract, tort or family, if not based upon find themselves similar to biblical laws.

It is also a nation where every single State Constitution mentions God. A nation does not need an official religion, when people have chosen Christianity as their religion.

Facts have no impact on Vizio, Jerwade. He means the phrase "separation of church and state" is not in there. As a literalist he will not use any reasoning or logic to interpret what IS in there to mean a "separation of church and state."

the christianity practiced in america bears very little resemblance to that practiced in the new testament KJV.
most listen to the preacher and do not read the KJV
they preach peace but make endless war
they preach marriage and family but respect neither
they preach respect for men but hold them in contempt

As sad and tragic as it is, Warden . . . it is not really their fault. The religious leaders in the mainstream churches carry a heavy burden for corruptting Christ's Gospel. The arrogance and hubris with which they do so is particularly evil and un-loving.
