Yeah, his old sermons are replayed on the ABC Family channel on Sunday nights. Ed Young is pretty reviled in Lutheran circles, mostly because his sermons tend to have a lot of Law in them. Also, being a megachurch pastor on TV generally makes you a bigger target.
Other criticisms levied against Young would are that Fellowship Church owns a private jet that Ed Young uses to fly around in and also that he has a lavish "parsonage" which he receives an allowance for.
I heard the name but never really listened to anything either of them said. Whenever i see a megachurch pastor my radar already goes up and i tune out. Maybe it is just me, but when they say that you must tithe i already know they are robbing the people of God. Tithing is unscriptural damnable heretic teaching, but most mega church pastors are not aware how false it is.

Speaking of Tithing, here's part of I assume to be an Ed Young sermon where he encourages his parishioners to fill out banking information for direct withdrawal.

On the contrary, tithing is scriptural-the Jews were required to do it under the Old Testament and that didn't change for Christians..also, Paul himself wrote that apostles and preachers of Christ are to be compensated. If I am wrong, please prove it "from the Bible", as a protestant would say (since I am Catholic.)

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor. 9:7)
Love is to be our motivation, not compulsion or legalism.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (James 1:27)
