Hello,
I am planing my trip to Chicago this August.
I have not decided yet how to get from the airport to hotel.
I will stay at the Embassy Suites Lakefront Chicago and I will
arrive at O´Hare international airport.
Is it advisable to travel by metro, or would you recommend taxi.
Of course metro is much cheaper.
Thanks for your help.

Mario

You can take the Blue Line - but once you're downtown with your luggage it would be easier to just cab from there. That's probably an $7-8 cab ride.

Cabbing from the airport is something like $40, right?

Are you coming at rush hour? If rush hour I'd say to take the train and then cab to hotel.

If you're coming in the middle of the day or in the evening, you might as well just spend the $ on a cab if you can afford.

Thanks for your fast reply.
I will arrive by 2 clock in the afternoon in Chicago.
To get my baggage and the pasport control will take probably between 1-2 hours.
Normally I wanted to take the blue line up to GRAND station and from there by bus "65".
Should I better take the cab from Grand station?

Thanks.
