No. I've heard people call 2801 N oakley either lakeview or roscoe village. funny how different people call the same address different neighborhoods.

BTW, there are 2/2 condos in that address for 499k also. sounds like a rip off, doesnt it?

Are those people the realtors trying to upsell or the saps that bought in because they thought it was lakeview?

Those people are the ones who built what they call the "fine" "Homes of Rivers Edge." Apparently they are advertising their properties as in the heart of lakeview or west lakeview.

So what exactly separates Lakeview/Lincoln Park from Logan Sq? The river or western?

2811 N. Bell is in Avondale. Just to the east of it is the Lathrop Homes (CHA.) Which BTW there are no current plans to tear those carphole buildings down.

No border of Logan Square shares one with Lake View or Lincoln Park.

The borders of the neighborhood of Logan Square are North Ave to the south, Pulaski to the west, Belmont to the north, then Elston going southeast until it hits Western Ave,the Western south to North Ave.

All of Bucktown is east of Logan Square and a portion of Avondale is east of Logan Square as well. Between Avondale and Bucktown there is the Clybourn Corridor and the Lathrop Homes before you get to Lake View or one of the Lincoln Park sub-neighborhoods.

Right on! What would be the exact borders of Avondale then?

i would disagree with the stated southern border of logan square as north ave. we've gone over this a thousand times and some maps disagree but i go with the old timers in thinking that the old bloomindale line is the southern border of logan square with that area west of western and north of north (hows that for a tongue twister?) being humboldt park.

It is a bit complicated.

Addison to the north,Pulaski to the west, then down Belmont until reaching Elston. Take Elston southeast to Logan Boulevard. Go on Logan Blvd. northeast to the river. The River is the boundary on the eastern portion until you get to Addison again.

I am going by the Official City of Chicago neighborhood map (which is the most accurate out instead of the thousands of full-of-crap maps.) If you have a beef talk to them.

You need to stop confusing University of Chicago created "community areas" (which are only meant for research and statistics) with actual neighborhoods...
