It varies greatly depending on weather, time of day or night, special events, Cubs games, what part of Lincoln Park you are traveling from and whether you are driving or taking a bus and/or train.

What?

Be more specific in your question. If you cannot then just use mapquest and the CTA Trip Planner. It will be just as off as we will be without having more specific info.

Default Well...

I can't say too much. I have only done it a handful of times. But there are stops for the bus on Halsted that you can just take down to UIC. That would probably be the quickest if you are near Halsted and it stops right by UIC. That would take about 20 minutes as my best guess.
If you went the train ride, I think you'd probably have to take the red line and transfer to the blue line which would take longer and is a lot more hard to judge in terms of time.

Not a problem. I always have time to answer any UIC questions (as you can tell from the name).

I can't say that I still attend. I graduated about 3 years ago. I am probably going to start some PhD work there soon, but have only been on campus recently for sporting events and the neighborhood.

Commuting to UIC from Lincoln Park should not be too bad. Again, the quickest way I would say would be a bus route straight down Halsted. The CTA planner gives about 24 minutes from Halsted and Fullerton (the main street I think of when I think Lincoln Park but I'm sure there are more stops in LP on the bus route) to Halsted and Harrison, one of I think two or three UIC stops. And those stops let off right on the UIC campus.

If you have any other UIC questions, I could try to answer as best as I can.

One would be lucky to get 24 minutes driving their own car on Halsted from Fullerton to Harrison in many instances...
