Hello. I currently reside in San Antonio. I am 19 years old. I've been wanting to move to Chicago for some time now, but I have no idea how to go about it. For awhile I was debating whether I should go to college down here, then move to Chicago. Or take a chnace and move to Chicago and then do my schooling. Downside to that is I will prolly have to live somewhere ghetto because I'll prolly be working some wack job to pay the rent because I don't have any relatives in Chicago. I already have my college tuition taken care of though. But I'm just dying to move to Chicago and get out of San Antonio. IDK. Opinions?

Have you applied to colleges? Been accepted at any? I would think that would be a huge factor.

haha x2. That would be a first step. Like most other students you could get aid and loans and that could cover the cost of living. I had a couple of firends who lived in nice places and areas and paid 500 bucks a month.
But 1st thing 1st find a school or youll come here and never go to school and keep on working that wack job till your 40

Assuming you haven't started the application process here in Chicago, I would consider school in Texas for a couple of years at minimum before relocating. If a community college or state school is to your liking, in Texas you can get in-state tuition since you are a resident.
