I'd like to see some discussion on West Lakeview. I know all about Lakeview, but the area of West Lakeview (specifically, Diversey and 90/94) is new to me. Does anyone know anything about this neighborhood/part of town? Just how big is West Lakeview? How is it different from Lakeview?

Yes it is! And Pensacola Place is also in Wrigleyville! Seriously!

It is according to the people that own a building there.

Yeah, and they market it as "West Lakeview" to try to rent it for a higher price. Just FYI, there is a housing project at Diversey/Damen, which is close to where you are talking about.

Try my handy "argument solver/prove Avengerfire is right PDF."

The area around Diversey and 90/94 is either in Avondale or Logan Square depending on what the address is. However, there is a part of Lakeview that is about a mile or so east of 90/94.

If you care to give a rough address (like 2900 N. Greenview) I will tell you what neighborhood it is in.

I was born in Chicago and grew up here. I know what most of the streets and other landmarks are on that map very well. If I am ever in doubt, I cross reference with maps and other info to be sure.

You can either trust me or some landlord, realtor,or apartment agency that might be trying to rip you off. I am volunteering my time with no possible monetary gain. What incentive is there for me to lie to you? Your choice.

Fair enough. So... can you tell me about the 90/94 and Diversey area then? Whatever it's called!

I can tell you I would not live around there.

You have to give me a loose address or at least an intersection. Also how large an area around Diversey and 90/94 are you talking about? A half mile radius or a mile? Things can change here in the city greatly within a few blocks to a mile.

If you are saying this place is very close to Diversey and 90/94 I will tell you again I would not live there.
