I have seen 3 bedroom apartments in Lake View,Roscoe Village, North Center,Wicker Park,Bucktown, etc for $1500 (and even less) all over the place. Some of these even include heat, have a deck, access to a yard, and 1.5 or 2 bathrooms!!!

There are deals to be had everywhere now.

A year ago many of these apartments would have been close to $2000 a month or more.

Then Chicago will loose more population than it is now. Chicago is fortunate that it didn't end up in the same fate as Detroit

People are farming in Detroit. Soon it may revert to the Ottawas and Habitants.

I'm buying property by Wolf Point in preparation for Chicago's return to the fur trade.

My 25 year old daughter needs a one bedroom in Lakeview, her roommates had job transfers (same company). She just moved out of a 3 bedroom on Henderson and Southport. Any ideas???

Nothing like a late night game of "guess the ****** ****" to make the hours fly by.

That's the problem with Yelp reviews of mgmt companies; they are always going to be negative because who the hell is gong to waste their time praising their landlords?
