Also, Valerie has got to go and she should take her bad mini drinks with her! I agree with Ming Tsai: I think the trend of mini food with mini drinks is trite and overdone.

Ugh! I completely agree, he has been hovering right above going home for three episodes now, besides, it was his bad idea on movie night that got Manuel sent home. I can't wait for this week's episode - I think Spike incites a Bear riot - I hope he get's a black eye...

Our girl Stephanie was at Quenchers last night. I couldn't tell you much more beyond that, I was overly quenched.

Ahh see that's what drives me crazy! (Even though i know you were joking) In the culinary world, women are the better cooks in that house-wifey way, yet men are somehow better equipped to be chefs... very weird and archaic industry. That's why I'd love to see a woman win.

It seems like many women have found niches as pastry chefs and someliers in recent years... It's only a matter of time before they destroy the chef's old boys club! It's not like there is any innate abilty in the male genes that would make men better chefs! It's just old gender roles showing themselves. After reading Anthony Bourdain, I can see how this macho kitchen thing works.

I have always thought that being an executive chef as a woman was more difficult because of the executive aspect more than the chef aspect. It's not too difficult to be a sous chef, but God forbid a woman be able to run a kitchen and have control over men.

No. When I owned my resturant, my lead manager was a 27 year old woman. Not only did the cooks answer to her, everyone did.
