I live on Granville and Sheridan in a really awesome building that is a duplex high-rise, 29 story building. The 1st duplex high-rise building in the city and only still today. We have lived here for about 4 years and will tell you that the area has gone from better, good to almost great. I am only mentioning a few facts about our building because like where we live, there are so many other cool interesting buildings in the area that are tied to old Chicago history, back when Lakeview was it's own city and Edgewater a suburb.

Thanks to Whole Foods and other projects like 6145 N Broadway and the Target Store at 6418 N Sheridan, this area is about to experience rapid change for the better. We also recently welcomed a few new restaurants into the hood too.

Lot's of progress.. if you still think that the Kenmore / Winthrop Corridor is a thing I'd encourage you to visit the area, far from the reality of today.
