Milwaukee - self-explanatory. It's like a home game where Cubs fans can tailgate
Wrong! last yr it was like 70-30 brewers fans, some games it was 50/50 but it's not Wrigley north anymore, now it's Miller Park South from now on at Wrigley when the crew comes to play.

I have a hard time believing that. It was easily 70/30 at the Brewers vs. Cardinals game I went to last year at Miller. I have to believe more Cubs fans make that trip than Cards fans.

I ended up just getting bleacher tickets for a couple games in September this year. I might go tomorrow though.

What kind of tickets has anyone else gotten?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah....Miller Park South? It's kind of funny because I think you meant that seriously. That's cute though.

Actually just made the trip to St. Louis last weekend. Got there Saturday and tried to find some places to watch the game and I have to admit I was pretty disappointed. I was at the Skybox, because they told me it was St. Louis' premiere sports bar. When I walked in and there were about 5 other people, we left. Ended up having to watch it at Hooters because they were the only place around there with the sound on.

After that, went out for a little and went back to Skybox to watch the Blackhawks. Glad to see about 50 or so other Chicagoans there to watch along with.

Then went to the game on Sunday and left after.

Didn't really do much "St. Louis" stuff out there.

Default Question about Cubs season tix.

Just curious if any of you are season ticket holders and if so, do you sell your seats on Stubhub? The reason I ask, I don't have ST, but I go to a lot of games (I have my secret spot for getting tix near Wrig for 1/2 face value) and sometimes I check Stubhub to see how many tix are floating around.
I'm wondering if ST holders just put their tix on there for every single game at some outrageous price hoping to get a bite now and then from a desperate fan or tourist. If they don't sell, you just go to the game yourself.

Just curious.

Just when you thought prices could not go higher especially after such a crap season. The new owner of the Cubs drops the bomb....

"...The family will raise ticket prices and increase the team's payroll but said they've never considered personal seat licenses..."

Cubs raise ticket prices. Not surprising but still disappointing.

"Club box outfield seats will increase by nearly 19 percent for so-called "platinum" games, a new ticket price tier that was introduced in 2009, and will nearly double from 14 games to 26 next year."

"All bleacher seats will remain about the same as in '09. A bleacher seat for platinum games will go for around $60.50, a .50 increase from 2009. The Cubs did not reveal exact pricing, only announcing the ticket price before the amusement tax was added and saying the number would be "rounded off." Almost all the six bronze game tickets remained flat. Most of the silver games will be about the same price as '09, though the number has decreased from 28 to 19."

I like wrigley as much as the next guy but 60 dollars for bleacher seats is a bit much.

$30 is a bit much even for bleacher "seats."
