Any of you ever contest a ticket for displaying an old registration sticker and succeed? My girlfriend got one over the weekend even though she has the new sticker, she just forgot to put it on the car. I realize that technically the ticket is valid and I am not arguing that. I am only wondering if it's worth going to a judge to ask for forgiveness considering the ticket is $60 and she did actually have a valid registration.

Yes, you should contest it. It will be dismissed. Go put the sticker on now so this doesn't happen again.

So, you're asking for the ticket to be dismissed because of laziness? lol. If I recall correctly, there's a two week grace period on these, right? At least I thought that's what the renewal letter stated when I got mine in the mail.
