The child in question is 12 (middle school age). I guess those are k-8 schools? At any rate, the parent would have to have an address in the area to go to those schools.

Oh, there's definitely a lot of racism in Chicago, I know (though I'm not sure I would say it's worse than in conservative places). One need only read a few threads on this forum to know that. It was your use of the term "left-wing liberal racism" (or whatever) that didn't make any sense. Racism, by definition, is not liberal.
