Chicago nightlife has been dissappointing since 2005-2006 ish. Guess club promoters are getting lazy

No. It's overall been getting better by far.....

Its been getting better in gentrifying neighborhoods (River North, Wicker Park, Logan Square, South Loop) but getting more stale in older neighborhoods like Lincoln Park and Lakeview.

I find that the incredibly hot women of Chicago go into hibernation during the winter months.

Dominican is not next to any "ghetto" areas. As mentioned River Forest is one of the most exclusive suburbs in Chicago. Crime in RF is a complete non issue. If you're going to be a student at Dominican and living in Lincoln Park/River North, that is not an easy commute by public transportation. By car it's kind of a straight shot down North Ave, so that would be feasible.

If you plan to live near Dominican (in River Forest, Oak Park, or Forest Park), please keep in mind these are suburbs, and the nightlife will not compare to the Chicago hotspots. Although Forest Park has a few bars, I imagine you would quickly tire of going to the same 3 places, and seeing the same people.

I'm confused on why the OP is asking about Dominican University. In his previous post, he said the two schools were located at 205 W Randolph St #200, Chicago, IL 60606 and 174 North Michigan Avenue 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60601 USA
