Just got back from chicago and i tell you people should be jealous of your awesome city, the houses are so pretty here from Hinsdale mansions to the brownstones, the downtown is amazing you guys have all the stores you could ever want, the Ferris wheel is awesome to go on at the beach at night and take pictures of downtown Chicago, every neighborhood i was in in the suburbs had there own little feel to it and their own downtown it was cool. The whole foods out here is the 3rd largest in the world and they have everything. The lake trail is awesome and the beaches are fantastic. I would love to live in this city the prices are not too expensive like LA, you have everything you want in a major city of the world, and crime bull**** its freaking exaggerated in so many ways. The transportation is the second best in the country after NYC and you can go from any suburb and arrive downtown in 15-30 min. Its so diverse, you have soo many Asians, Indians, Mexicans and the people here are so friendly. Thankyou Chicago!

Awesome! Love your post. Coming from somebody who just loves and adores Cali and LA, it is nice to be reminded, especially after slugging through January, February, and March, that this city despite it's problems is overall very awesome and fabulous! Thanks much.

Shhhhh, quiet down. If the word gets around, everyone will want to live here and that means the place will go to he11. Repeat after me: Chicago, murder capital of the planet. Home of carniverous corruption and cronyism. The land of unbearable taxation and high living costs.

Now that ought to scare off all the droopy-eyed, interlopers.

Right now i actually live in Ohio by i used to live in LA for about 18 years or something, it was okay, the only thing i really liked were the restaurants, shops and the beaches. It became really expenisve and the crime was getting so crazy that you couldnt wear certain cloths like red t-shirt or the gangs might think your in a gang.
