Some of these ticket scam artists have a pretty sophisticated set up and know how to get your money and then avoid any future communication (they change emails, phone, etc, etc).

Are you saying that the guy met you in person and still gave you bogus tickets? Are you 100% sure he knows they were bogus (or is he just a middle man?) If so, this guy is a flat out piece of pond bottom scum criminal.

Like others have said, the cops probably have much bigger fish to fry and the Bears probably will chalk it up as a lesson to you to not buy tickets on the black market.

You may have to exact a little street justice here.

It'd be great if you guys could Tweet and Facebook message my story/link to Chicago Bears and Houston Texans. Crossing my fingers for some luck but I'm still glad some justice was served

LOL "William Howard, a 44-time arrestee, was expected in bond court Saturday."

Maybe we need to implement a "45 strikes and you're out" policy.

Glad they got the guy and nice job on working with authorities to set up the sting. You probably saved a lot of other people from losing money. Did you get into the game?

44 arrests? This guy obviously has a problem with respecting the law. Put him away, he's a cancer to society and obviously a career criminal who has no plans of changing his ways.

How the heck is someone with 44 arrests still walking free? Does he ever do any time? Justice should implement baseball rule: three strikes and you are OUT
