Unions and corporations alike are power hungry machines who vie for influence by paying off elected officials and don't give a s@%t about the average person. Government unions make me sick as they appeal for pity by claiming to represent the "working people", while they screw over every non-union working person by increasing their costs of living. If you seriously think that they're better than large corporations, you have been misled by their rhetoric.

Pensions and Unions sink companies. Look at GM. Ford survived and did not take a government bailout, both GM and Ford SUCK as car companies, so there is only one real difference between the two.

I am okay with CEOs getting millions, because they took the risk and started the company. Employees dont take risks like CEOs do. They can also find jobs at other places, I cant just go be a CEO at another spot.

However, as you pointed out, we have no choice regarding SS; it comes out whether we want to be part of the plan or not. So which one is socialist? SS is.
Please, there are many examples of Unions controlling entire industries to where you cant work at ANY employer without being represented by a Union. THAT is a monopoly and should be illegal. Unions should not represent more than 50% of any workforce.

What do you define an organization that looks at a companies profit, and demands a raise because the company is making "too much money".

How fair would it be if a gardener that came to your house asked to see your W2 and quoted you after doing a review of your assets?

Unions are good and fair when they are used for their defined purpose, but many of them have obviously overstepped their boundaries, and the system cannot afford to pay what Unions forced to be agreed to. I am all for the ending of Unions, but the creation of a union like regulatory body ran by an INDEPENDENT 3rd party.

As for the OP; the people who abuse these pensions should be horsewhipped.
When Corporations band together too much, they call it price fixing and thats illegal.

Yes, usually with other people's money. If I had millions of dollars of OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY at my disposal, I'd be at the casino every night.

The whole 401k system is a scam to pump money into the rich man's system and give him more to gamble with. It was genius...for them. I'll take pensions over that any day.

I do not agree with the bailouts, but we have THOUSANDS of companies where CEOs get paid millions, and only a few that took bailouts.

I do not agree with bailouts, but I have no problem with well performing CEO pay.

For you to decide how many people should belong to unions is an infringement on the free market and people's rights to associate, strike bargains and make contracts. Unions are not a monopoly because they deal with individual employers not entire industries. In every industry there are employers that are unionized and those that aren't.

How many CEOs actually took a risk and started a company? And how many took over going concerns and took (and take) no risks themselves?

Ford makes pretty damned good cars (and this is generally agreed upon among auto enthusiasts and journalists) so you're evidently not very well informed on this subject. Note too that the German car companies people hold up as paragons of automotive virtue are heavily unionized.
