Hey desperately seeking insight here. I am about to sign a lease on a building off Clark st. 525 W. Arlington . I checked it out , I like it a lot ( for what it is ), I am well aware of all the negative feedback online about both this property, as well as the management. I have not had any bad vibes with each, I just would like to know if anyone lives here currently and if they have any problems.Reason I post is My last place had horrible reviews and the year and half I lived there , I had absolutely no issues, so please if anyone could help ! DM or post !

I don't know anything specifically about this place. But if you like it, go for it. It's only a 1 yr lease, right?

What vlajos said. If you don't like it, get a sublettor and move out. Then write a bunch of scathing reviews online.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I don't think I've ever seen an apartment with good online reviews.

This. People are more prone to go online and vent about something than talk about how great their building is.

Sorry I don't check threads enough. I signed the lease, as for the murder and the bad yelp reviews I have already checked those out ... I'm a firm believer on you get what you pay for ... I'm not paying much so my expectations are not the highest. So far no complaints yet. Thanks everyone for the feedback!
