Where can I find a Cheap 1 or maybe even 2 bedroom apartment for 700 or less. I need to find a place to live. I'm getting a new job soon and I really need a cheap place that's not on the southside. Or any bad neighborhood because I have a son and I don't want his life in danger. I have about 600 dollars to my name right now and I need a place. Someone please help me. I also forgot to say with all utilities included or at least most

That's not going to be easy, but search craigslist. There are a couple 1 bedrooms listed in Rogers Park and Lincoln Square for that price. The rest look to be in so-so neighborhoods.

Is this a joke?

You can go an hour and a half outside of Chicago and have a hard time finding a $700 apt with utilities included. Plus you would need $1400 to cover 1st month and deposit.

I'd echo the above poster's concern that you won't have enough for a security deposit and first month's rent.

Yeah You guys maybe be right. But I found some places the only thing is I need a job first. I found some places that only require me to show that I have a job and no sec deposit. So now I just need to find a job. I wish I knew some that were hiring because I need a place quick.
