Only problem is that purple line is rush hour only. So if he works odd hours he will be forced to use the red line.

Not to mention if the person has to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

We are a notch bellow New York in the transit catagory. There is enough transit in the city itself that you don't need a car but often a car is helpful.

Not all bus lines run 24 hours and many slow down at night. Only the Blue line and the Red line are 24 hour. However the area near where you work is well served by transit and the area also has big time parking problems.

Our public transit system is very well set up to get you to the downtown area, but if you want to go elsewhere then that can be less convient.
