This guy is my new hero. Not only does he disarm the guy, but he cracks his skull open with the gun before delivering 2 fatal shots. He undoubtedly prevented the two woman working there from being executed.
He was given a $5,000 reward by the tanning salon owner but I hope someone sets up a website so we can contribute more to that reward. I'll be the first in line to contribute.
This guy saved the states of IL and IN hundreds of thousands in court/lawyer fees, incarceration costs, appeals, etc.

Good job Jason. The country needs more men like you.

Unfortunately, Mr. Deadguy's family is probably talking to some ambulance chasing hack lawyer to see if they can get anything financial out of the situation.

The guy granted an interview to ABC-7 and it was picked up by ABC World News Tonight. I guess he changed his mind.

The owner gave the guy $5000 toward his daughter's college, but if mom and dad use too many of those "free tans for life" then they won't be around for the grandkids.
