So i know how crazy this is going to sound, but i swear its the truth. Last Thursday night, i parked my car right in front of a CTA bus stop. The ENTIRE length of my car was in front of the bus stop sign, to avoid getting a ticket.

I took a cab to work on friday as i had to go to the airport directly after work.

I came home from being out of town all weekend on sunday to find my car now moved approx. 5 feet so half of it was now BEHIND the bus stop sign with a ticket for it blocking the bus stop also.

I am so confused. No one has a key to my car, and i am POSITIVE it was totally in front of the sign before i left. I have no idea how or why this happened.

Has anyone heard of anything like this?? I know it sounds rediculous and if it hadn't happened to me, i might not believe it either.

Thanks.

You are correct, it does sound nuts. Were you parked on a hill where your car rolled a bit?

It's plausible a Streets and Sanitation crew from the city pushed the car back manually. Also, a tow truck could have easily done that too.

Any scuff evidence that your car was dragged? Stick or auto? E-brake?

In my spare time I take an jack out to pull out bus stop signs and pound em back in about 5 feet up the street. Finally I get to hear from some one that makes my prank worthwhile...

Once had neighbor 3 houses down with a beater he parked in front of my house and left there for 10 days without driving it. Had my buddy show up and tow it a little ways down the street so I could park in front of my house again.
