If your main concern is finding a racially diverse crowd, it may be a little tough to find in Lincoln Park/Lakeview. If your main concern is feeling out of place.... to put it bluntly, unless you have a thick accent, Asians are basically considered "honorary white people" around here.

I used to work with dozens of Koreans, and they were spread all over the North Side and suburbs. They went to Korean Town to get BBQ and specific grocery items, but didn't live there.

haha exactly. it's middle america. to the original poster. you can do better by sticking to other cities.

Meh, this city is pretty diverse on its own. We all hang out and chill in the loop, then we all go back to our own respective neighborhoods when we're done with each other. But we have that silent mutual respect if we ever visit each other's hoods.
