Hi there,
I'm a female 22 year old Media Designer from Austria / Europe.
From march 2010 until september 2010 I will do an internship at an IT-Company which is located in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
I'm currently trying to find a room in a shared apartment, but I am unsure about the right area and neighborhood.. I thought about Oak Park, because it's not too far from work and it would be close to Chicago Downtown - What do you guys think?
I thought about living in the suburbs too, in Naperville for example.. I'd love to live in a beautiful house in a nice neighborhood, but it's might too far away from downtown then.. also planning to get a cheap car, so I will need a parking lot too, which would probably be no problem when i move into a house, but probably when i move into an apartment around Oak Park?
Or maybe some of you even know about a free room for this period?
