If you are a native of the Chicagoland area, you were brought up thinking that NW Indiana is not the most desirable place to live in.great places to live with lower home prices and lower taxes. Those that have known this have already moved there.

Just be aware that you will have to pay IN and IL state income taxes if you live in one state and work in another.
