Income means what the folks you are living with earn. If your parents are out of work they might still live in Darien, Burr Ridge, Willowbrook, Westmont or any of the areas that make up the attendance area...

Why? Are you trying to avoid them or fit in? I went to HSHS in the 70's; you can see on the chart Chet posted that low income enrollment has risen over this time frame. Assuming the attendance area is the same as it was when I went there my guess would be Darien, Willowbrook and uninc. Hinsdale. There is a bunch of apartments on Rt. 83 @/around 91st St. but I am unaware of any new additions to the housing stock. I'm on apartments.com having a hard time finding any links...why do I get Chicago when I search Darien? If I find anything I'll post it.

This is where I lived http://www.hinsdalelaketerrace.com/?ils=1 the website says they are still in Hinsdale School District and I guarantee they are too far from Hinsdale Central to be zoned there.

There are 2 or 3 more complexes in this general area.

There is also a complex behind the HSHS football stadium if my memory serves correctly. There are several different complexes west of the school on 75th St to Cass.
