Amid all the stories of companies possibly leaving, this is welcome news. I was talking to someone the other day who was sure they were moving to California.

Yeah IL must have given them some mighty concessions. IL can use all the (good) jobs it can get nowadays.

So mororola solutions and mororola mobility are staying put in Illinois
I consider that welcome news.

Looks like we are fighting tooth and nail for every job.
States are fighting for businesses but I am glad Motorola is staying put where it belongs

thought the same thing with the ceo being form so cal
surprised me.

that company should move downtown go where the young guns are at.
vs. way out west in the burbs

good news though
so both units are staying

yes, I noticed they are changing the sign on the corporate hq tower off of 90 to motorola solutions already.
