I would take the CTA. It would be about 1.5 hours or so which is probably faster than driving it in rush hour.

i'd think it would be longer. for one thing, there'd be several transfers: yellow line to purple line, purple line to red line, and red line to bus. also, getting *through* downtown takes awhile, with all the stops. so i'd expect it to average closer to two hours.

After a few weeks of that, it would all swirl into the 'rainbow colored sprinkles line.' ugh.
