Looking for recommendations on a good sit-down family friendly pizza place in the western burbs... thin crust preferred.

We know about Connie's in Westmont but we think that is deep dish.

All of these places seem to be just take out these days. Thanks!

Places like Connies and Giordanos do also make thin crust, but you are correct their speciality is deep dish.

For atmosphere like sports bar and good pizza there is Phillies in Willowbrook, Papa Paseros in Westmont, Bonos in Lisle. There are other places with sit down too.

don't know where you live, but Home Run Inn is in the woodridge/darien area on 75th street. it is thin crust and tasty. way out here in sugar grove, OPEN Range bar and grill at the bliss creek golf club started making pizza around a year ago or so. they have a super thin crust that is really tasty. they even have some type of pizza special on monday nights and if you have ever gone on restaurant.com they have had a coupon on there for $25 off a meal of $45.

Gino's East in Naperville? I don't know whether they make a good thin crust, though--I'm a thick crust lover.

Try Roundheads in DG.

You can get a HUGE football shaped pizza that can feed about 5-6 people. Very fun and liad back atmosphere!

White Cottage in Wood Dale. Not in the West burbs but pretty darn close to it.

Armand's or Mimmo's in Elmhurst are both very good and have thin crust.

Avengerfire is right. White Cottage makes good pizza. There is a location in Carol Stream. Papa Savarios and Ginos East are good also.

Thanks all, yes Gino's east does have a pretty darn good thin crust. We have one out here in St. Charles.

In Elmhurst area, Robertos has good pizza, we do their take out. But for eat in - I don't know if that is for pizza or just italian dining. The restaurant looks too fancy to take kids to.

Thanks for the recommendations.
