I have a 2016 Buick Encore that I purchased brand new. It has 45k miles and has had all of it's service done at the dealership. Oil has been changed regularly and have not had any other problems. Two weeks ago the check engine light came on.
Immediate took it to the dealership. They indicated that the turbocharger went out. Dealer had it for a week and replaced the turbocharger and lines. Repair was over 2k and was luckily covered under warranty.
Picked up the car yesterday. Last night went to run an errand. Car was leaking what appeared to be large amounts of oil all.over the driveway. Moved it to the street overnight and car continued to leak oil on the street.
I just can't believe that a brand new car that has been maintained and taken care of already has engine problems!
Can this car be saved or should I ditch this car now??? ILooking online there appear to be lots of people with this problem and it looks like this is just the beginning of a nightmare and more problems with seals, etc.
Any input especially from mechanics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Reason: Edited thread title for clarification.
Not over a hose --over a major part of the engine failing at 45k for no reason. What a piece of crap. Also, other people online are indicating this is just the beginning of a myriad of other problems that are not covered under the warranty.

Many newer cars today have a turbo. I don't care for them, but that's the way it is. Typically they last longer than 45k miles. You've got a brand new turbocharger, and once the oil leak is fixed there's no reason it shouldn't last another 50k miles.
Make sure to use full synthetic oil, as the oil is what cools the turbo. And change it at 3,500 miles, regardless of what that oil life monitor tells you.
Probably didn't tighten the oil supply line to the turbocharger.
Get it fixed and don't worry about it. Anything that spins at 100,000 rpm in the presence of hot exhaust gases, there'll be a few units that fail prematurely.
Dumping a 45,000 mile car over this one item would be silly.

Agree. Get it back to the dealer.
