hello.
my dad is a german vw manager and is coming to chattanooga soon to help get the plant started the first couple years.

he is looking for a nice house in a good, maybe a little upscale neighbourhood.

we haven't bee to chattanooga yet and don't know much about the different suburbs or communities.

we found some really nice homes in eagle bluff of ooltewah.

please tell us something about the really good areas around 10-15 miles around the new plant.

thank you very much!

The perfect area is Mountain Shadows Estates, off Banks road in East Brainerd. Close to VW plant and homes up to and over 1 million dollars. Community pool and tennis courts too.

Default Eagle Bluff

Nice n'hood - I lived there for about 10 years or so.....lots of nice houses and a really great area for walking around. Obviously, if your dad likes golf, that would be a big draw.

thank you for the tips.
he is in chattanooga right now. tomorrow i will visit him and we will look at two houses so far.

first is private owned and in eagle bluff.

second one is offered by a realtor and is located on the rambling roses drive in ooltewah.

it is pretty difficult to find good rental houses in chattanooga, because there is no MLS for rentals, like it is in SC.

do you know good websites for executive houses?
do you know any informations about the two areas we are going to look on saturday?

thanks,
Sascha

Default Montlake Golf Course - Mowbray Mountain

If you are interested in something a little more serene and less congested there is a nice golf course community called Montlake on Mowbray Mountain in Soddy Daisy, TN that is worth a look. The schools are good, the commute might be 25 minutes to the VW location but you don't have to deal with the heavy truck traffic on Hwy 75. The location also is more convenient with less traffic to get downtown and North Chattanooga than some of the other locations mentioned. Montlake Golf Course
I'm not sure about home rentals.
