HI. Does anyone know of any month to month houses, apartments, art studios, or any place we could stay temporarily while we search for a house in chattanooga? We have three cats so were looking for a super pet friendly place. I'm self employeed & my significant other already has a job lined up so we're all set but with nowhere to live & panic is setting in. Ahhhh! I've looked into temporary apartments on the internet but they are all sooooo far away from downtown. It's so difficult to figure out where to stay when we can't go check anything out. We're moving the 27th of August & are very excited! So if anyone knows of anything month to month, near downtown, less than 1000 a month, & feline friendly, any information would be greatly appreciated??? ?

Default Temporary housing/downtown

Not sure that you'll find temporary housing in downtown area; someone else may be better able to answer that for you. But you might be able to get something with a short lease or a short lease until sale? There are several actual rentals nearby. A few on Central & ML King (grey apartments with burgundy awnings) - renovated apartments. One right off the corner of ML King and Central part of a duplex. One off of Magnolia and ML King, looks like a house for rent. Several on Eighth St. off Magnolia -- houses are for sale, but you might want to ask about a short lease? If you are interested, PM me and I'll get the telephone numbers for you. Me and hubby only saw this when we were driving by this weekend on the way home from dinner. I remembered your post and quickly scribbled down the street names. All are 5 minutes from downtown driving, 10-15 minutes more less walking (depending on your health).

Yay! Thanks so much! Any numbers would be wonderful. We've been calling any place we find on the internet & still no luck. Everyone wants 12 month lease or doesn't accept cats. A Short lease would be so great to find. I've pretty much given up on a month to month place.

Here are two: 821/823 Houston (off E. ML King), 5 minutes walking distance from downtown - phone #757-9995. We'll try to get the other two this weekend.
