We are both in our early 40's and moved here just a few months ago. I miss having friends and thought I would try this.

We're in our early 30's and have almost no friends in Chatt. It's difficult when you move to a new place. Turns out we'll likely be moving in the new year so I don't know that we'd be the best folks to "invest" in.
I really do hope you meet some like-minded people. Like I said, it's tough out there.

Don't know yet. Not the right kind of techie jobs in Chattanooga for us. Haven't started circulating the resumes outside of town yet. Probably up north. We're always up for an adventure, but we were hoping to be here longer. Just not working out for us here.
