There was a story back around the end of the year promoting the refurbushment and re-opening of the Metrolina Speedway off Sunset Road.

Here's the website for the big grand-reopening event which was to happen last weekend that didn't happen.

Does anyone know if this track might re-open, or was it just another pipe-dream?
