I have been living in Gilead Village for a month now, i dont think there is anything wrong here. The houses for sale are just people whos family grew or want a bigger yard.I love it here.

I'm renting a place in Gilead Ridge. The houses are really nice with great floor plans and they're well-made. I have checked out many Ryan Homes communities in the Charlotte area and have been impressed by all of them (I bought a pre-construction in South End). I have heard that the reason there are several houses on the market in Gilead Ridge is because there were several separations/divorces so it has nothing to do with the community. My roommate (who I rent from) has also been very happy with Ryan Homes' follow-up on minor repairs/inspections.

Red face Rosedale

I don't think there's anything wrong with the area. They are patio homes with small yards, though, at least the Saussy ones are, maybe not Ryan? Seems to be nice to me, I know someone that lives in Carrington Ridge, too. I think that's MI Homes?

Rosedale is a very nice community in Huntersville (built by Centex). I like it because it's close to I77 for an easy commute. I also have options if I77 gets goofed up...
