My brother and his family are coming to visit this weekend with their 3 kids (all 4 and under) - and I would like to take them to an Easter Egg Hunt. Anyone know where I can find one? It can be anywhere in Clover, Rock Hill or Gastonia - Charlotte.
could you just do your own in your yard? kids that young wouldn't be any less thrilled - and it's easier on you too!
Agreed. All of the public egg hunts we've gone to have been very, very overwhelming and crowded (OK, we only went to 2 before I learned my lesson!), and some kids will push others out of the way to overfill their baskets while the younger or more quiet kids get maybe 1 - 2 eggs. It sounds like such a sweet idea! But the reality is not good or enjoyable for most of the kids.
You can buy prefilled plastic eggs now, if it's a question of time for you. For kids that young, they'd be really happy with a few eggs each hidden in your yard or house.

We are probably doing this one on Saturday. Anyone know how crazy it gets?
That's a great idea..I didn't even think about doing my own in my backyard. My own kids are 12 & 13 so they're not really into the whole Easter Egg Hunt thing anymore. I do remember taking my kids to an Easter Egg Hunt in Central Park in NYC once when they were little and it was CRAZY and crowded!..so thanks for reminding me. SunnyKayak - those were good suggestions - thanks - I'll keep those in mind in case we change our minds.

Well, if you aren't picky about where, & if the time works for you, here's one on Saturday in Kings Mountain. City of Kings Mountain, North Carolina (http://www.cityofkm.com/events_0.asp - broken link)
USNCWC is having an Eco Trekking Egg Hunt on April 3 & 4th, $10 per person. Prize: Find all 10 cache points and each paying child wins a free kid’s meal at the River’s Edge Bar & Grill. (must be redeemed by end of day on 4/4/10) - Contact Whitewater for more info.
There's a coffee shop on Sardis at the intersection of Crownpoint Executive drive, they will be doing an egg hunt, passed it yesterday. Sorry, I don't have the name because it just changed owners. This may work well with little ones, I don't see this as a big event, but as a business trying to get customers.
