My brother is coming for Turkey Day dinner and he's a vegan. Where can I get a "whole tofurkey with drumsticks and everything" for him?

Sorry, vegans can't participate in T-day festivities. Did the early settlers hunt for tofu? No, I don't think they did. The whole point of Thanksgiving is to show appreciation for the plentiful bounty by eating a bunch of it.

I did see Trader Joes had tofurky, but it is not shaped like a turkey. He might need to compromise a bit!

Other options are Healthy Home Market, Berrybrook Farm, and Earth Fare.

Good luck!

I was a strict vegetarian for a couple of years. I believe that tofurkey was what made me say to hell with it and head to Golden Corral.

Earth Fare should have them.

You know it must be bad if it makes you head to Golden Corral.

You cannot have it all, though many want it that way. Feed him some rice, sweet potatoes, cranberry and some gherkins. He will be fine. Eating fake turkey seems really bizarre. Oh, dont forget the green bean casserole.
