I have a group that wants to watch the games on Thursday and Friday but I can't find a bar that is doing anything special. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What is the special "something" that you're looking for?

Just a bar that is doing anything to bring in customers. Drink specials or food specials or just a cool place to watch the games.

Try Boardwalk Billy's on Sardis. It's not huge, but they always have some kind of beer specials, and TV's all over.

If you are close "to that quaint little drinking town" called Matthews, try Kristopher's....

Blackfinn's ran $2 Miller Lite pints on the opening day of March Madness last year. And Picasso's have daily drink specials, including cheap buckets and pitchers.

That's still $2 too much for Miller Lite.

Maybe Jocks and Jills on Tyvola out where the Colliseum used to be?

I forget about that place, but I always enjoy going there. Good food too.
