What exactly is being built on the acreage that lies at the corner of Rea Road and Ardrey Kell Road? I'm NOT referring to the area where the Walmart was proposed, since that is the corner of Rea Road and Tom Short.)
I've asked many people living in the area if they had any clues, but most aren't sure if it will be residential townhomes or office/retail buildings.
They look like A LOT of townhomes to me, but there is no advertising up anywhere.
Anyone "in the know"?

Townhomes and apartments I believe. The 4th corner that doesn't have anything yet I think will be another little "strip mall" if you will....at least that's the last I heard.

What school system will those apartments/townhomes be sending their children to? Is that still considered to be Mecklenburg County? Any ideas as to the actual name of the development? Sorry about the many questions...

There is a new elementary school going up right now off Tom Short very close to Ardrey Kell.

Harris Teeter is across the street already.

The presently empty corner will add an extra 100,000 sq feet of retail to Blakeney. I hope they'll open a Barnes and Nobles there.
