I respectfully would have to disagree that Cabarrus County Schools are better than the Ballantyne schools, though if Mayor Foxx has his way, that is going to change I fear.

We live in the mallard creek area and love it. taxes are high, you pay city and county. we have lived here almost 12 years and have watched this area grow (and our home price grow). 485 will be complete in this area soon. you really just need to spend a day in traffic to compare, especially if you are commuting. also, step into the stores (grocery, drug, clothing, restaurants), see what the "people" are like. good luck!!!
