Just got this email from CMPD, thought I would pass it along.......

I have been surprised over the years that many folks have no idea that the county health departments provide free vax!!!

Does that include Hep B?
Our son ha had his first (we don't vaccinate here in the UK), so he will need his 2nd in 6 weeks.

Not sure. My son got his thru/ the hospital where he was working part time so we never had to check that out.

Susan - I just checked for Iredell County (will you be in Iredell or Meck?) and they have Hep B listed on their fee schedule (I have never seen a health department list their fees, wh/ is a wonderful idea and service - they all should).
