is this legal??

Somebody at the end of my cul-de-sac gave their kids an ATV. (there are 2 of them). So, now, they run them up and down the street incessantly. The noise sounds like a muffled motorcycle. They are driving me crazy!!

No it is not legal. Call the cops and give them the address of the folks with the ATV and one visit from the cops should stop it. If it doesnt call again and THAT SHOULD SOLVE IT...LOL

If you have their address, have your HOA send them a letter.

Maybe talk to their parents first b4 calling the cops or the HOA on them? At least give them a chance to rectify the situation and see how receptive they are. JMO.

I'm not sure which house they come from...it is just the end of the cul de sac. We DO have a pretty good police presence here due to excellent community policing. Hopefully, they will be caught soon!

Is anyone who thinks it is OK for their kids to ride an ATV through the neighborhood going to care if it someone complains? I think it would be OK to go talk to the people if you know them but not if they are strangers. You may be starting a war.

^^^ and besides, if the cordial conversation doesn't work out...I guess they know who called the cops??

Nice touch. Like the touch of a blacksmith.

I'm in agreement here w/the majority. We've had that problem before in BO. Someone told both the HOA and sheriff's office, and hasn't happened since....

No need to bake bread in this situation..your opening a can of worms for yourself...
