I heard real estate is better in NC than most other places in the southeast. True? I need help. Suggestions - which cities to consider moving to. 20+ years experience, Florida realtor relocating to Charlotte/piedmont region, will be looking for assistant or personal secretary position in the real estate industry. What cities/towns are recommended? Where is real estate selling in NC?

Just FYI, there is no reciprocity for those with Florida real estate licenses here in NC. You will have to take the 75 hour pre-licensing class just a though you have never been a realtor to get your license here - no exceptions. Even real estate assistants have to be fully licensed here in NC with a NC license.

In addition, real estate is not selling any better here than most other places, though just not as bad as California, Las Vegas etc... I wouldn't recommend getting into real estate in a city or state you don't even know until the recession has passed and the real estate market has rebounded.

ARRGH...we don't need another transplanted, half-back realtor (or anyone from the northeast really) moving to Charlotte - stay where you are - your market will bounce back - or better yet, go to Texas or Vegas - they need realtors there...geez...realtors, lawyers, used car salesmen....
have a GREAT day
