We live ardrey kell HS and am looking for the closest fireworks display for tomorrow night. I saw the listing for those in Mathews, Monroe, and Center City...but a neighbor said she saw them from her porch last year. My kids are 4 and 3 and think they may be able to try it out this year. Any suggestions?

What your neighbor probably saw was fireworks coming from one of the country clubs nearby - no way of knowing if they are doing them this year, as the recession seems to have everyone tightening their belts. The closest I know of for you would be at SouthPark Mall.

Carowinds has some, don't know what night? Knights Stadium has some on Sat. Really good show that you can see from the road. Providence Country Club has theres tonight. Can pull up in front of the clubhouse and watch them.

These may be the ones Amp's neighbor saw from home last year - Amp, be ready and on your porch as soon as it gets dark tonight!
